What Sprinter Van Service Is
Our sprinter van service provides high-roof group transportation for up to 14 passengers plus luggage. Our dispatch team, headquartered in New York, coordinates each vehicle through vetted local affiliate operators. These vans work well for groups that need more space than a standard SUV but do not want a full motorcoach. Most units have bench seating, climate control, and ample cargo room. We can arrange airport transfers, event shuttles, and ski resort runs. The service is ideal for groups traveling together with skis, camera gear, or trade show materials. I recommend sprinters for any group with more than six passengers, because luggage quickly fills an SUV.
Who Uses It in Salt Lake City
Ski groups book sprinters for airport-to-resort transfers, especially during peak season from December through March. Wedding planners use them for guest shuttles between the Grand America Hotel, Salt Lake temples, and reception venues. The Grand America Hotel is one of Salt Lake City's largest luxury hotels and a common pickup point. Film crews rely on sprinters during Sundance Film Festival in Park City each January. Corporate groups use them for offsites at Snowbird, Deer Valley, or Park City Mountain. University athletic delegations and outdoor-industry buyers also use sprinters for group airport pickups during convention weeks. Production teams during Outdoor Retailer use sprinters to move booth materials between hotels and the Salt Palace. Park City Mountain covers about 7,300 acres, and Deer Valley limits daily skier numbers, so group logistics benefit from reserved vehicles.
How Pricing Works
Sprinter service from SLC airport to downtown Salt Lake City starts at $175. Airport-to-Park City transfers start at $275. Hourly charters start at $165 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Larger capacity or luxury sprinters cost more. Resort-to-resort transfers, such as Park City to Snowbird, are quoted individually based on mileage and time. Pricing is flat for point-to-point routes, so traffic on I-80 does not change the fare. Gratuity is not included unless you have a corporate account. Wait time beyond the included grace period is billed hourly.
One Honest Limitation
Sprinter availability in Salt Lake City is thinner than sedan inventory. During Sundance, Presidents Day weekend, and peak ski Saturdays, vans book out weeks in advance. Last-minute requests may require a larger vehicle or flexible pickup times. We recommend reserving sprinters as early as possible. Some rural resort roads are not suitable for high-roof vans. Some hotels and condos in Park City have tight turnaround areas that make sprinter access difficult. If your group exceeds 14, we can arrange multiple vans or a minicoach, but that requires more lead time.
